The Organization:
Founded in 1955 as the Lutheran Sunset Home of Saskatoon, LutherCare Communities provides excellence in care, housing, and community services within a nurturing Christian environment.  

The Position:
Responsible for the overall development, coordination and implementation of training programs and wellness services within the Home Support Program. The Wellness Coordinators responsibilities include monitoring and participating in the wellness and foot care programs for all LutherCare Communities sites, the development and continual coordination of training programs for LutherCare Communities.

The Applicants:
Applicants qualifying for this position must be a graduate of a recognized school of nursing, and be currently licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Licensed practical Nurses.  Having a certificate in Foot Care and knowledge of dementia would be considered an asset. The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years of experience in: community health & gerontology nursing, and providing and administering educational training programs. A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle and insurance are requirements. Applicants will have the ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand English as well as be familiar with the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of aging as they affect health and lifestyle.
