Description

Clifton is currently searching for Senior Transportation Engineer for our Saskatoon office.  Reporting to the Regional Manager and working closely within Cliftons Infrastructure Practice Team, the successful candidate(s) will provide a technical leadership role within the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Project Management including accountability for project financial results
- Communicating with clients and sub-consultants
- Maintaining key stakeholder relationships with Clients, internal technical resources and support staff
- Act as  review engineer/project director (Second level support) on transportation projects
- Preparing proposals, budgeting and scheduling of technical field staff for highway and roadway projects
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff
- Participate in regular Business Development
- Participate and show commitment to Clifton's health and safety program
- Participate in some of the following: professional committees, expert panels, publications and conferences that align with your career goals and interest

Desired Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 10-15 years experience in transportation engineering including a minimum of 5 years as a field construction Project Manager
- Contract Administration
- Hydraulics and hydraulic design
- Traffic operations
- EPS project experience
- Pavement design
- Urban or Rural design
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment would be considered an asset
- Experience establishing and maintaining client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work in a team environment including mentoring and coaching team members

Accreditations
- Minimum of an Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered (or eligible for registration) as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
