Description

Permanent Part-time Accounting/Admin Clerk
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
-    Daily administrative tasks, including mail, bank deposits, phones, reception
-    Accounting procedures in QuickBooks accounting software
o    Maintain the general ledger accounts in QuickBooks
o    Post journal entries in the QuickBooks
o    Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
o    Review all accounts payable batches and monthly reports for validity, accuracy, and completeness and releasing the batches for payment
o    Reconciliation of customer and vendor accounts
o    Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
o    Prepare monthly reports for Management
o    Perform other accounting activities as required
o    Follow-up, collection, and allocation of payments
o    Perform the collections process
o    Assist with conducting credit checks on prospects and reporting results to management
-    Tasks in Company Software program
o    Review invoices, send to Clients and batch over to QuickBooks
o    Assist in preparing all invoice types through an automated process based on billing cycle
o    Assist in processing employee time and expense reports
o    Maintain customer financial information and status
-    Assist with, update and follow annual Budget
-    Other duties, as required

Skills required:
-    Analytical
-    Logical
-    Attention to detail
-    Bookkeeping
-    Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
-    Good knowledge and experience of Excel, Word and Outlook
-    Experience with on-line Banking
-    Excellent time management skills
-    Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
