Adecco is currently recruiting for one of their top clients an intermediate level project manager to assume the leadership of a portfolio of projects for a one (1) year term. The project manager is expected to use their experience and expertise to successfully lead and deliver projects utilizing RUP methodology and following PDO standards while ensuring that Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices are being applied and followed. The project manager will functionally report to the Project Management office and will ensure that project processes, procedures and policies meet the company's standards.
Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Communication and facilitation as to the progress, milestones, and significant events through the course of the project to all key stakeholders and committee members
- Lead the project team
- Prepare and monitor the ongoing adjustments of the project plan
- Management of the approved budget
- Identify project deliverables and milestones
- Coordinate meetings with project team leads and follow up on outstanding items and deviations
- Management of project risks and issues
- Provide assistance and mentorship as required
The preferred candidate will be PMP certified and have knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies. Candidate must also have IT Industry experience and proven leadership skills.
