The YMCA Child Development Centre is seeking professional, energetic, responsible, and committed people to join our team. We are looking for full time Early Childhood Educators at our Downtown and Sutherland locations. These locations provide quality care for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
Some duties include:
- Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment
- Participating in physical activities
- Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
- Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing
Requirements:
- ECE Equivalency of Level 2, or 3, or other relevant education. Level 1 education or the drive to obtain may be considered for the right applicant.
- Related experience is an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current clear Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
- Current clear TB test
