We are a small companion animal clinic in Prince Albert, SK. We have an opening for a certified veterinary technician for full time employment. Applicants must be reliable, have a mature, positive attitude, excellent communication skills and work as a team member. The successful applicant will also be required to do some front office duties, assisting vets, scheduling pet for appointment and caring for patients. Experience with Cornerstone practice management software is preferred, but not required.

- Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
- Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
