Job Description: An exciting career opportunity exists in Creighton, Saskatchewan with the Public Health Nursing program for an energetic, knowledgeable, caring professional who can exercise sound clinical judgment.  The successful candidate will deliver holistic Public Health Nursing Services to residents of Creighton, Denare Beach and Sandy Bay. The Public Health Nurse works within an inter-professional team to provide services to the community, groups, families, and individuals. These services include components of health promotion, disease and injury prevention, health education, community development and facilitation of client services.

To qualify, you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

??Bachelors of Science in Nursing
??Current registration with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or eligible for SRNA registration
??Ability to conduct group and individual educational sessions
??Ability to function as a member of the multidisciplinary primary health care team
??Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
??Excellent interpersonal skills
??Basic computer skills
??Knowledge of and respect for aboriginal health concepts
??Ability to work in a cross-cultural setting
??Valid Saskatchewan Driver??s License
??The successful candidate shall be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
