The Saltcoats & District Daycare is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Children learn primarily through play, thrive on positive feedback and deserve a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Accounts payable

-Client billing/collections

-Keep accurate financial records

-Reconcile all accounts

-Prepare monthly financial statements

-Pay bills

-Search and apply for grants

-Payroll

-Create yearly budgets

-Accurate record of GST

-Assist with fundraisers

-Assist with year-end audit

-Keep Good Standing with WCB & Corporate registry.

Qualifications

Experience with computers - in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, & Quick Books.

Preference will be given to those with completion of a university / college program in accounting, bookkeeping or related field.
