The Western College of Veterinary Medicine offers a permanent, full-time clinical appointment in veterinary anesthesiology available May 1, 2016. Responsibilities: clinical duty in anesthesia, case management of large and small animals, and supervision of final year veterinary students. After-hours duties shared equally with other anesthesia clinicians on shiftwork basis. Qualifications: DVM (or equivalent); eligible for licensure within the province of Saskatchewan; and must be a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiology and Analgesia or European College of Veterinary Anesthesiology and Analgesia or have credentials acceptable to them. Previous clinical teaching desired. Salary range: $75,234-$125,312 (Specialist/Professional Phase 3) per annum for an individual with ACVAA or ECVAA board certification. If a qualified candidate with Board certification cannot be found, the successful candidate will be initially hired at Phase 2 level (Salary Range $59,517-92,996) and will be upgraded to Phase 3 upon obtaining the required qualifications.
