Position: Painter

Great first impressions are the specialty of a Painter at S3 Manufacturing. Understanding what goes into high quality finishing, and a passion for providing that finish for our clients on every piece are key qualifications for this position.

Brief Overview

Day to day, a Painter works as part of a team to organize and stage product using an industrial monorail system through the phases of powder coating: sand blasting, washing, application, and baking. Quality inspections are part of every step, with a focus on continuous improvement. An S3 Manufacturing Painter is expected to operate and maintain hand tools and specialty machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications

In addition to knowledge and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a finishing specialist with these attributes:

Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
Minimum of 2 years of paint and finishing experience; preference given to powder coating.
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
The ability to understand production instructions and drawings.
Strong organizational skills.
A positive attitude.
