The City of Prince Albert has an opportunity available for a motivated individual to work with the IT group to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.
Under the direction of the IT Manager, this out of scope position has responsibility for gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for the delivery of support and training to the end users including troubleshooting of all business applications and their integrations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments. Competencies supporting innovation are desired.
Desired Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in the field of computer science or management information systems.
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products.
- Extensive experience with core software applications, including Financials, Payroll, Work Order, Document Management and SharePoint. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP Financial ERP and Documentum is a huge asset.
