We are seeking candidates for the position of part time kitchen/cook assistant in our memory care community dedicated to residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of Dementia.
Responsibilities include: preparing, washing and storing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing dish washing area, delivering and retrieving cambros from memory care units, assisting cooks with preparation of meals; cleaning food serving areas and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors and completing assigned cleaning duties.
Complete Grade 12 and be at least 18 years of age. Must possess or obtain Food Safe Certification.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
Experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking.
