We are seeking a dynamic, well organized self starter who will provide management and administrative support to the organization.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as a high level of diplomacy and be comfortable working with a Board of Directors in a team environment.
A key aspect of this position will be the availability to work flexible hours due to evening meetings and increased workload leading up to events, such as the exhibition. This position will also be responsible for ensuring the hall and office is clean and maintained for rentals.
The role is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Applicants should have knowledge and experience with: working with a Board of Directors, payroll, remittances, grant writing, staff management, preparation of monthly financial statements and associated responsibilities as well as event planning.
