The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Veterinary Ophthalmology beginning July 1, 2016, or when successful candidate available. Applicants must have a DVM (or equivalent), be eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan, and must be a Diplomate or have credentials acceptable to the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) at time appointment becomes effective. ACVO Diplomate status is required for tenure. Advanced degree desirable. Responsibilities include high quality instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate veterinarians, participation and organizational responsibility for the ophthalmology clinical teaching and VMC service programs, and scholarship and research in ophthalmology. Salary ranges: Assistant Professor $93,293-$112,109; Associate Professor $112,109-$130,925.
