THE OPPORTUNITY  Operations, on a Seasonal basis

Operations will be required to perform a wide range of operational duties including receiving, shipping, and counting product. This role provides a high level of customer service to our growers to provide product(s) on time.  Our seasonal positions may be suitable for students or for those seeking to contribute for the March to October period.

    
Key Roles & Responsibilities:    
    Support the Location Manager to respond to growers requests
    Perform daily operations at the retail location
    Follow established procedures for loading and receiving product, including housekeeping and maintenance of log books, warehouses & inventory tracking
    Ensure accuracy when receiving and loading out product
    Perform inventory control measures
    Blend (loading out and in) fertilizer (dry and liquid)
    Operate equipment including skid steer, tractor and auger in a safe and efficient manner
    Perform yard maintenance on the property
    When required, performs deliveries to customer locations
    Use of Microsoft Office and internal inventory system


Desired Requirements
    
    Formal education in agriculture and, or past experience in an agriculture business is preferred but not mandatory
    Employee must be willing to learn and take on new challenges
    Must be physically fit
    Prefer those experienced in operation a skid steer, tractor with load and auger
    Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
    It's encouraged to learn and stay current with agriculture industry trends
