The Prince-Albert Co-op is currently accepting applications for a full-time Accountant position in our Prince Albert Administration Office.
Primary Job Functions
Co-ordinating of fixed asset and project accounting. Monitoring and auditing of internal systems. Assisting in the preparation of yearend financial statements. Overseeing of accounting agreements.
Required Skills
-In-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting practices and strong commitment to Legendary Service
-Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate information and build relationships
-Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
-Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills.
-5 years or more of related accounting experience
Desired Skills/Experience
Minimum Level 3 Professional Accounting Designation or equivalent business and/or related university degree. Previous Co-operative retailing experience would be considered an asset.
Reporting:
Reports to the Office Manager.
