Description

Regina Youth For Christ is a mission organization dedicated to helping children and their communities, worldwide, reach their full potential by tackling causes of isolation and hopelessness. Motivated by our faith, we serve the youth in Saskatchewan - regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender - as a demonstration of God's unconditional love for all people.

We are seeking a new team member who is passionate about people, and looking to use their Human Resources experience to serve in our head office alongside the Human Resources Director. As a missions organization, Regina Youth For Christ requires all staff to be in agreement with their Statement of Faith and to fundraise a portion of their salary.

Duties
-General recruitment administration
-Scheduling appointments and interviews
-Maintaining confidential information
-Generating professional correspondence and materials
-Preparation and support for training events
-Generating creative solutions to staffing problems or needs
-Compiling and maintaining the Human Resources procedure manual
-Maintaining proper Labor Standards procedures
-Providing guidance in performance management situations

Skills Required:
-Proficient computer skills with basic administrative applications
-Use of Apple computers and products an asset
-Professional writing and communication ability
-Ability to multitask during peak periods of workload
-Knowledge with current provincial Labor Standards
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Ability to guide, lead or coach other staff towards effective practices
