Position; PHARMACY CLERK
Location; Giant Tiger West La Ronge, SK
Overview:
To provide prompt, courteous and confidential customer service and maintenance of the dispensary under the supervision of the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.
Highlights:
Provide prompt and courteous service
Greet and provide immediate service to customers at the prescription counter or cash till area
Ring in all prescriptions and any OTC medications for customers
Answer the telephone promptly, provide general information, refer medical questions to Pharmacist
Maintain Patient confidentiality
Maintenance of dispensary
Ensure cleanliness of OTC section, dispensary and counters
Ensure cleanliness of Blood Pressure machine and adequate stock of Log Books
Provide assistance to Pharmacy Staff
Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager, complete delegated tasks as required
Job Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English
Possess effective communication skills to interact with patients and staff
Previous retail experience an asset
