The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 220 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services. FCL invites applications for the position of Accounts Payable Clerk.
*Please note: this is a temporary, full-time position for up to seven (7) months; may be extended; may lead to permanent.
Reporting to one of FCL's Corporate Accounting supervisors, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the following:
Receive and handle supplier correspondence.
Prepare payable adjustments as required.
Review outstanding debits on a monthly basis and request payment for outstanding amounts.
Review and follow up on outstanding receivings and supplier invoice lists.
Other duties as assigned.
In order to qualify for this position, candidates must posses: a high school education; SIAST/Saskatchewan Polytechnic ACP classes (ACCT 122 & 125) or equivalent; and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
