The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor, supervises and deploys General Maintenance Workers on a daily basis and assists with supervising caretaking employees. The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor is responsible for ordering materials for maintenance tradespersons and operations staff. The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor oversees the online ordering of supplies for the operations staff, and tracks purchase orders for operations and maintenance equipment. Reviews completed work orders or accuracy and invoicing.
The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 plus courses and/or experience related to the position. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a diploma in business administration. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability in using maintenance and operational software as it relates to building management and supply ordering systems. All applicants should have a working knowledge of maintenance and caretaking equipment and materials. Preference will be given to candidates that have a general understanding of invoicing and purchase orders.
