The infusion clinic nurse, under the direction of the immediate supervisor establishes, monitors, and delivers nursing care to clients as directed by the nursing care plan, and in accordance with all required internal and external professional practice standards.
Experience:
At least 2 years of recent experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Requirements:
Proven IV competency with PIVs, CVADs, and PICC
Experience reading ECGs
CPR
ACLS
current TB screening
criminal record check including vulnerable sector
Education:
Valid licence with SRNA or RPNAS
Assets:
Experience with administering chemotherapy or willingness to learn more about oncology
ICU and/or ER experience
Bayshore Home Health Saskatoon sub-contracts with nurses; nursing assignments are on a casual contract basis.
Nurses must be comfortable and competent to practice within their scope, in the community, and independently.
