Description

Reporting to the Environment Supervisor, this position is responsible for the following duties:

-Assists the Environment Technicians as required, including but not limited to;
-Performing daily inspections & monitoring
-Groundwater sampling
-Surface water sampling
-Effluent sampling
-High volume air sampler operation
-Potable water monitoring
-Sample preparation and shipping
-Shipping material for recycling
-Equipment maintenance
-Data Entry
-May assist Radiation Protection Technicians as required  

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Enrolled in Environmental Sciences or related post-secondary program
-Must be returning to school in the fall 2016
-Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN)
-Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
-Able to work in a strong team environment and be able to demonstrate initiative
-Show attention to detail

Work Location & Schedule:  McClean Lake, 7 Days in/7 Days out- 77 hours/week

Pick-Up Points:    Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Camsel Portage, Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston
