Facility: Kerrobert Emergency Medical Services
Job Description: The EMS Coordinator is accountable for the day to day co-ordination, planning, general logistics, operations and delivery of Emergency Medical Services in their community with strict adherence to the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, and Heartland Health Region policies, procedures and protocols.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Clean Driver's Abstract
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) - Basic
Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certificate, or required to obtain within 1 year of employment
Health Care Provider Level C Certification (HCP-C)
CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Intermediate Care Paramedic (ICP) level
Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ICP level
Experience
Minimum two years experience as a practicing Emergency Medical Technician or Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced with preference given to higher qualification.  Preference will be given to those with previous Coordinator experience and experience in facilitating adult education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Communication skills
Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
Computer skills including Microsoft Office word processing and spreadsheets, email and internet
Other Information

Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call
Wherever possible, the employer will endeavour to ensure on-call assignment do not exceed 300 hours in a three-week period
