Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an individual with exceptional communications and marketing skills at the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Communications Officer supports the development and implementation of communications strategies that raise the profile of HRF, and help build relationships with key stakeholders and donors.

The Communications Officer is responsible for overseeing and developing communications materials including social media, online content, advertising, publications, donor communications, media events and promotional brochures. The successful candidate will proactively seek out public relations opportunities that support the Foundations business and campaign goals, and serve as the primary contact for the Foundations external service providers.

The candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent. A minimum of five (5) years or more of communications experience is required, as well as exemplary oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and highly developed organizational abilities. Accreditation with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) or Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) is an asset.
