The multi-award winning newspaper The Melfort Journal has an immediate opening for a general reporter.
Located on the edge of the Saskatchewan parkland, just hours away from a variety of lakes as well as provincial and Prince Albert National Park The Melfort Journal is looking for someone with enthusiasm, confidence and an ability to work independently as well as part of a fun-loving newsroom.
Experience with In Design is an asset as are photography and writing skills. As well as a reliable vehicle.
Located about 90 minutes from Saskatoon, Melfort is a diverse community of about 6,000 people and has much to offer an individual like first class shopping and recreation facilities including an indoor swimming pool.
The newsroom is part of a team responsible for producing three quality newspapers weekly.
