Melfort group home requires an attendant
to care for 5 adults with intellectual and
physical disabilities. The successful candidate
will be responsible for providing personal care to
residents, housekeeping, social outings and
recreational activities in a home like atmosphere.
Applicants must submit a criminal record
check and drivers abstract UPON APPLICATION.Applicants will not be contacted for an interview until all record checks are received.
Applicants must work
independently as well as collaboratively, have
written and oral communication skills,
organizational skills, decision making ability and
problem solving skills.
Applicants must be able to work a wide variety of shifts, including nights, days, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and call ins.
Related experience would be considered an asset,
but employer is also willing to train the right induvidual.
The Melfort Group Homes Society offers
comprehensive benefit package(minimum working hours required), as well as on the
job training, competitive pension plan, with automatic wage increase after
probationary period.
This job is only open to Canadians, Permanent
residents or people in Canada under the Care Giver
Program.
