Start date:January 2, 2016 or when successful candidate has been found. Position is primarily intended for a theriogenologist with a bovine research emphasis and clinical expertise. Training across a broad range of species is considered necessary to align with WCVMs clinical service and teaching programs. The potential for the establishment of a strong, internationally recognized, independent or collaborative research program will be necessary. Will be expected to participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate students in both classroom and clinical settings. Salary bands: Assistant Professor $90,796-$109,108; Associate Professor $109,108-$127,420. Applicant must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) and be eligible for membership in the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association. Evidence of clinical training, board certification or board eligibility in the American College of Theriogenology, The European College of Animal Reproduction or the Australia New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Animal Reproduction) and a graduate degree are required. Board certification will be required. Applicants must have a proven commitment to high quality teaching and research. Preference will be given to those demonstrating past experiences and the development of an innovative research program in an appropriate field of study.
