The Director of Information Security is an addition to the Brandt Group of Companies IT team. Located in Regina this position will report to the CIO.

The successful candidates responsibilities will include the implementation and maintenance of an Information Security program to serve all segments of the business. They will be responsible for evaluating current technologies, vendors, and future trends. They will also be responsible for making recommendations that will ensure the protection of Brandt's corporate intellectual property and computer systems.

This position establishes and directs the strategic and tactical goals, policies and procedures for security of all essential data and ensures compliance of all computer systems. This individual will manage all personnel within the IT security department.

Desired skills and Experience

- Post-secondary diploma/degree in a computer science field is considered an asset.
- Applications must have experience either as a leader of an IT security department or as a senior member of an IT security department.
- Applications should also have a recognized designation from a recognized Computer Security organization.
- A strong record of successful leadership and an advanced knowledge of IT security, networking, operating systems, and server architectures is required.
- Candidates must have proven experience in managing and directing employees in a data processing environment and require excellent communication, organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
