Providing vocational counselling to D/deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in American Sign language.Duties include but are not limited to job development, job coaching, partnership development/maintenance. Career counselling, providing assistance with funding sources,administrative functions related to the position.
Specific Skills
- Administer and interpret tests designed to determine the interests, aptitudes and abilities of clients
- Counsel workers on work, and career-related issues
- Assist clients to develop job readiness skills and job search strategies
