Business Support Specialist
(Full-time, 8 month term position)
As part of the Business Administration department, this position delivers administrative business support services to enable the organization to deliver on corporate priorities to promote business for the organization and ensure the company is soundly managed and directed.
Key Outcomes:
The Business Support Specialist performs in various capacities to deliver routine, intermediate and advanced administrative support to aid the functioning and efficiency of business activities and assist management and staff in delivery, execution and achievement of business objectives.
Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Schedule, plan, coordinate and execute details of meetings and corporate events including: date selection, facilities and accommodation arrangements, prepare agendas and notifications, and meeting attendance to record minutes, notes and actions.
Plan, schedule and coordinate travel and logistics for meetings and events.
Assist with maintenance of files and records and complete various corporate forms.
Order and maintain office supply inventory.
Develop and maintain procedures for primary support functions.
