The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking a permanent IT Solution Architect to work in our Information Technology Branch, Regina Head Office. Reporting to the Manager, IT Architecture, this position is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of in-house and commercial off the shelf IT systems and networked software architectures ensuring alignment with existing systems architecture and organizational goals. The position will conduct research on emerging technologies, provide architectural consulting expertise to application development and technical IT staff, review new and existing project designs, develops architectural policy and ensure compliance. In concert with business lines, determine impact of current and changing government priorities, changing markets, business drivers and customer expectations and identify where technology is putting business at risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
