Canora Community Child Care Centre Inc. is seeking an organized, committed individual to fill the role of Executive Director.
You will work closely with a Board of Directors to manage and operate 2 licensed child care facilities in the community of Canora.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the adminstration duties, scheduling, applying for grants, managing the budgets and maintaining supplies as well as personnel and management responsibilities.
The Executive Director will be knowledgable of the Ministry of Education Licensee Manual and become familiar with the Policies and Procedures of Canora Community Child Care Centre inc.
You will provide trustworthy child care and educate children by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment based on the philosophy of the Centre.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the care, supervision and planning for children between the ages of 3 months and 10 years. Candidates must have the ability to plan activities that are based on the children's interests, and document experiences accordingly. A desire to actively participate in children's play experiences and a solid understanding of child development is required.
Candidates with experience as an Executive Director in a licensed child care facility are preferred however all interested applicants are encouraged to submit their resume, complete with a cover letter, indicating their related education and experience.
