Job Summary:
Reporting to the Home Care Manager, Battlefords & Area, the Home Care Team Manager - Meadow Lake is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Meadow Lake Home Care program including the communities of Meadow Lake, Loon Lake, Goodsoil, Pierceland, Makwa and the Enriched Housing Program by ensuring the effective, efficient and economical utilization of resources to meet the needs of the clients and staff while maintaining a high quality of care for the clients. The provision of high quality of care to clients/clients/families is achieved by effectively and efficiently assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and plans according to individual and family care needs, and in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Prairie North Regional Health Authority.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
Must hold a current registration or be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association.
Applicants should have knowledge of the physiological, social and spiritual needs of older persons.
Preference will be given to applicants possessing knowledge of general policies, standards, objectives and philosophy of Home Care.
Applicants must be self-directed with excellent verbal and written skills as well as demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.

Experience:
Experience in Home Care.

Have demonstrated experience in program administration/delivery and financial administration, as well as demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities working with RNs, LPNs, HHAs and Assessor Coordinator/Case Managers to provide client centered care.
