Description

Kinsmen Manor is a facility that offers support and assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities. We are currently looking for a full time cook. Shift is 6am- 2pm. Position is available immediately. Elmwood offers paid training and a comprehensive benefit package including Group Life and Disability Insurance, Pension plan and drug, dental and optical coverage.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The cook is directly responsible to the Director of Support Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Cook is responsible for food preparation, baking and serving meals to approximately 60 residents and staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Clear, current Criminal Record check including Vulnerable Sector Search is to be provided at time of employment interview and on request
-Valid Saskatchewan Journeyman Cook or currently enrolled in a recognized cooking program
-Vocational cooking course from a recogonized technical institute
-experience with institutional cooking
