Description

Reporting to the Enterprise Division Manager, the Instructor will provide instruction in the Business Certificate Program. Studies will focus on business problems involving ratios, proportions and percent. As the instructor, you will be responsible for examining the concepts of mathematics of merchandizing by examining discounts and markups, and the time value of money and how it is applied to both simple and compound interest. You will also examine the concepts of ordinary annuities and specifically how they relate to mortgages.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

4 year Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent, with sufficient classes in pure and/or applied mathematics to constitute a major (U of S/U of R standards). Two years recent/relevant business/industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience (2 years of experience in the last 5 years).
