Prairie Meats LP is accepting applications for a Food Service Production Supervisor at our Dudley Street location. The Food Service Production Supervisor consistently produces high quality meat and meat related products for retail and food service customers while ensuring safe handling rules and practices are followed. This position includes the completion of the entire production process, from product selection to boxing and palletizing, in an effective manner as well as the supervision of other employees within the production process.
The successful applicant must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60 lbs, have meat and/or food production experience, demonstrated strong supervisory skills in previous employment, and be willing to work in a cool, fast paced environment. Previous meat cutting experience and/or completion of a post secondary meat cutting course or certificate are definite assets.
