We are looking for Business Analysts who have a strong customer focus and value knowing that the work they do has a direct impact on the lives of patients and their families. The type of work will vary every day, but will revolve primarily around gathering, understanding and documenting business processes, the requirements and specifications needed to implement IT Interfaces that will enable the business to achieve its goals.
A key to success in this role is building strong relationships, having a strong customer focus, a knack for solving complex problems, and making connections (knowing who else to involve and when). To make that happen, you will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, complex technology driven environment. Within our environment, the situations you will encounter arent black and white, so you must be proficient in solving complex problems, delivering solutions, and enjoy working within the gray. Proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, documentation standards, and a rigor for change management protocols and quality control are also required.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a post-secondary education in Business Administration, along with several years of experience in a similar role. Health care Clinical experience (or Health Sector related business knowledge), Certified Business Analysis Professional Designation and ITIL Certification are considered assets.
