Description

THE POSITION:    

This is an opportunity to operate a Heidelberg SM52 - 4 colour press with-in a well established print shop. Suitable candidate must possess a drive for quality, excellence and enjoy a fast paced environment. This is a full time permanent position.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
- Set-up and run the press as assigned in the most efficient manner possible to produce a quality product on time
- Produce products in accordance with company procedures
-Perform equipment maintenance and ensure records are up-to-date
- Maintain a clean work area
- Trouble-shoot problems as they occur
- Perform quality checks on all projects at the onset, and on-going quality control throughout run.

  
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 to 10 years experience operating a Heidelberg printing press with 4 or more units or equivalent.
- Experience with Heidelberg Image Control an asset
- Must be physically fit
- Must be able to distinguish between colours
- Lift / carry up to 60 pounds
- Proven reliability

COMPENSATION:  
- Wage commensurate with experience
