Our client needs you to source wheat and grains from farms located throughout the southeastern area of Saskatchewan! You will assist in developing and executing an origination plan to define grain handling objectives. This is not a 'procurement' role, this is a marketing/sales/buying role.
Granted the autonomy to do your work, you will work closely with farm customers to identify, categorize, and prioritize origination opportunities allocating tonnage and logistic support to them along the way.

-Ability to forecast and strategize sales and marketing efforts
-Ability to promote grain marketing programs
-Ability to define customer needs and effectively negotiate a win-win
-Internal drive to be successful
Do you have?
-Knowledge of Canadian Grain industry, grain marketing, grain transportation and crop production
-Strong understanding of grain elevators, grain technology, and equipment
-Excellent math and computer skills
-Experience with CRM (customer relations management) or applicable software
-Valid drivers license
-Agricultural diploma or applicable Post-secondary education/training
