Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and overall administration of plant operations.

Job Duties
Responsible for recruitment, hiring, orienting, scheduling, and performance management of production employees.
Work with other members of the management team to foster a Team Approach with a focus on customer service and quality product.
Inventory management, ordering and scheduling.
Implement and maintain corporate Quality
Ensure facility will meet requirements for Health and Safety, Feeds act and other regulatory obligations
Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
3 or more years previous management experience in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership abilities.
Agriculture background with knowledge of feed ingredients, medications, and good manufacturing principals.
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on plant and business processes.
Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
Strong knowledge of production and logistics to coordinate customer needs while working with others to maximize plant and delivery efficiencies
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office
On call for after hours production related and customer service emergencies.
