The Agency: Founded in 1931, Family Service Saskatoon offers programs, services and leadership that develop and support individuals, families and communities to have safe, healthy and respectful relationships.

The Position: Family Service Saskatoon is seeking a full-time or part time Employee Assistance Counsellor to fill a four month contract which is located on the University of Saskatchewan Campus, until February 26 2016 to  provide assessments, counselling, therapy, and related services to individuals, couples, families, children, groups and organizations.  

Qualifications Required: The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in social work, psychology or other related field and five years of supervised clinical experience.  The counsellor may also be required to provide group work, workplace and organizational consultation and training.

Knowledge must include theories and practices of counselling, particularly in the areas of marital and family therapy, crisis intervention, addiction treatment and treatment of abuse survivors. Knowledge and experience with organizational issues would be an asset.  The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends is preferred.  

A criminal record verification and vulnerable sector check will be required.
