The Student Recruitment Officer is an in-scope position reporting to the Coordinator of Marketing and Public Relations.  The Student Recruitment Officer will act as a liaison between the College and communities and specifically students interested in Northlands College, they will provide direction to those students through the recruitment cycle.  The Student Recruitment Officer will also be the contact for guidance counselors, high school teachers, and community representatives interested in having Northlands College representation at recruitment off-campus events such as career fairs and school registrations.  

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Raising the College's profile by participating in off-campus recruitment activities, assist with on-campus information days, Open House sessions, and special tours for specific or large groups.  Work in collaboration with the marketing and student services departments to make suggestions on improvements to the recruitment process and identify new opportunities and markets, contacting and meeting high school counselors and teachers to promote programs, participating in classroom visitations and other special events to explain programs to potential students, providing information regarding admission requirements and program benefits to prospective students.

Salary: $31.51 - $35.14 per hour
