Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Service
Type of Establishment Experience: Cable television company, Telephone company, Telecommunications company
Type of Equipment: Coaxial line, Cat5e, Fibre optic line.
Specific Skills: Install, service and maintain coax equipment, Repair or replace defective equipment. Determine nature, cause and location of trouble. Capable of using RF meter tracer and toners.
Additional Skills: Work at heights or in confined spaces, Complete and maintain test and service records.
Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check to be provided upon job offer.
Own Tools/Equipment: Own vehicle, smart phone, GPS, ladders, cable tools, steel-toed safety boots, hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, harness.
(The above can be purchased from company aside from the vehicle)
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, physically demanding, attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colours, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 75lbs.
Work Site Environment: Outdoor, Indoor, Various climates.
Work on ladders at various heights. Must be able to represent company Brand during face-to-face interaction with clients.
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license,
Personal Owned Vehicle (POV) preferred. Vehicle supplied by employer (optional)
Work Location Information: Various locations throughout Regina, SK and surrounding area.
