Description

Calling out all the dynamic cabling and computer- tech savvy candidates!

Manpower is looking for Connectivity Technicians to work on the installations along with Traps and disconnections.

Below is a list of duties but will not be limited to:

Diagnose and/or correct all technical problems (Basic and Hi-Speed Internet, Basic and Digital TV) to the satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with company specifications.
Reconnect/disconnect equipment and/or services as per company standards and procedures.
Maintain strong customer relations through daily contact with customers.
Install new services, extra outlets and equipment in various residential dwellings.  
Complete accurate documentation pertaining to installations, service and sales activity.
Learn and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated, and as outlined in company policy.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Knowledge of cabling and computer technology.
Professional, trustworthy, and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
Computer skills and proficiency in a Windows environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
Ability to organize work and consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

Climbing/carrying  10 and 28 foot ladders (weight 75 pounds)  can be over long distance
Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, tightening screws, etc. (Continual through daily duties)
Can involve climbing trees to install aerial
Continual wrist and arm movements tightening and loosening screws/bolts, etc.
