Description

The Studio Manager manages the activities of the studio and photo shoots. He/she manages workflow of projects to ensure a high quality product is delivered on time and within budget. The qualified candidate has superior organizational, scheduling, time-management and supervisory skills.

Duties include but not limited to:

Photo-Shoot Production and Management
    manage the communication, logistics, details of photoshoots and accounts
    ensure all photo shoots are produced in a cost-efficient and professional manner

Studio Management
    basic administration includes tracking client and supplier accounts; updating calendars; inventory of equipment and props
    Troubleshoots any glitches and excels to provide and promote quality service

Business Development
    maintain current client relationships to promote repeat business and high levels of satisfaction with products and services
    follow up on any potential leads for new or repeat business
    create interest among the commercial sectors to encourage the use of commercial photography for internal and external uses

Qualifications and Requirements
    Strong and clear communication skills with a focus on customer service
    knowledge of marketing and advertising processes
    able to balance working in a creatively driven organization with an analytical and disciplined approach to marketing.
    critical thinking and solution-driven project management skills  
    Experience with using Quickbooks a bonus but not necessary
    Proficient on a Mac system
    Familiarity with digital photographic production helpful but not required
    Strategic planning and business development experience are preferred
    Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if necessary
