The Town of Canora, a progressive community with traditional values, is accepting applications for the position of Leisure Services Director.

The Leisure Services Director is a management position that shall encourage, develop and administer recreation and cultural programs for all ages; supervise the operation of all recreation facilities and advise on specific leisure and cultural needs. The director will work closely with the public, Leisure Services Board and other sport, culture, heritage and recreational organizations.

The successful applicant will be a graduate of a recognized leisure diploma or degree program, have the ability to lead, supervise and evaluate staff, and be able to plan organize and coordinate programs and projects. Excellent communication and public relations skills are required.
