Description

North American Lumber is a privately owned company specializing in Retail Building Material Sales in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.  Reporting to the Branch Manager and working closely with customers and fellow team members, we have an immediate need for a Yard Person/Delivery Driver at our Esterhazy branch.

Duties will include assisting customers, loading building materials such as lumber, siding, fasteners, etc. onto the customers vehicle or into the North American Lumber half ton, cube van or 3-ton truck, strapping and securing loads, delivering and unloading of building materials at the customers request.  

Candidates need to be organized, honest, reliable, and customer-focused.  Must have a valid drivers license with a clear drivers abstract.  Ability to work with little supervision and lift heavy loads continuously through the day.  Previous experience driving cube vans, 3 ton trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts required.  A background in construction and/or retail sales would be an asset. Must have own Steel-Toed Boots.
