The Law Society of Saskatchewan has an opening for a Complaints Intake person. Responsibilities include responding to members of the public with concerns about lawyer conduct, assisting Complaints Counsel with investigations and providing clerical support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with the public under trying circumstances
- Patience
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to work independently and superior attention to detail
- Mediation or dispute resolution training
- Investigative skills
- Strong clerical skills, including file opening and management, data entry and word processing
- Good computer skills and experience using MSWord, MSOutlook, Excel and database software
- Training and experience in a law office setting
