This position is responsible for providing reception, clerical and administrative support for Construction Careers Regina while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and careful handling of confidential and sensitive information. The Administrative Assistant plays a key support role in ensuring seamless business operations and professional presentation of the Institute. These include the following accountabilities:

*Greets and interacts with clients and visitors in a timely, professional and pleasant manner as well as determine nature of visitors' business and provide appropriate information
*Answering the phone, transferring calls to the appropriate staff member, take messages as required
*Receiving, sorting, and sending mail, courier packages, and faxes
*Assist employees with administrative support as required
*Strong knowledge on all office equipment to provide effective support and troubleshooting assistance for employees in addition to being responsible for contacting repair and customer support services for all office equipment
*Management of the front office which includes being responsible for opening and closing the office, coordinating meeting and boardroom requests and purchasing and maintaining supplies as needed

Required Qualifications and Experience: Successful completion of an Administrative or Business related program, combined with relevant administrative and reception experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations is an asset. Must be prompt, reliable, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills. Prior experience working with Microsoft office suite of programs is required. A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
