Description

Part time and casual positions
Requirements:
Grade 12 education
Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory/management position.
Forklift certification - current or eligible
Must have a valid Class 5 Sask. Driver's License and clear drivers abstract.
Must be bondable.
Experience in shipping / receiving, marketing an asset.
Submit to a criminal record check & vulnerable persons check upon acceptance of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide orientation, supervision, encouragement, assistance and educational direction and support to participants and recycling employees.
Provide & maintain a safe, secure and instructional environment for participants training.
Effectively supervise the daily ongoing activities of a recycling processing workforce.
Communicate effectively & professionally maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Skilled in the operation of recycling facility equipment.
Performing moderately heavy physical labor.
Diagnose equipment mechanical problems
Monitor site safety & cleanliness.
Assists customers and drivers with unloading & loading.
Assist with scheduled and on call pick-ups of recycling materials.
Sorting a variety of recycled materials
Safe and efficient operation of forklift & recycling equipment.
Attend conferences, in-services, and training as required.
Drive light to medium weight trucks & complete scheduled pick ups of recyclables.
Report any irregularities
Other tasks and duties as assigned.
